Portfolio > Carrying Capacity

Carrying capacity is a term for environment’s maximal load. It is about the total weight carried and supported without significant negative impacts to the given organism and its environment. Collaborating with a sculpture made up of ceramic bladders tied to Manila rope, I roll on top. I collect them around my abdominal, an area vulnerable to repressing energy, emotion, creativity, and trauma. I get up at my carrying capacity. It is time for self-repair.
